SATVATOVE WORKSHOP AT MASTER OF INFLUENCE SEMINAR

Report from Dr. David Wolf on His Transformative Communication Presentation at the Peak Potentials Master of Influence Seminar

Mr. T. Harv Eker founded Peak Potentials and its many seminars and training camps. Master of Influence is a 3-day seminar where, as per the website description, "top trainers in the world will share their secrets". I had never exchanged a word, verbally or by correspondence, with Harv Eker, and thus for weeks, since the time of the invitation, I was wondering why he invited me to present at this event in Los Angeles.

On the day of my presentation, November 16th, I arrived at the seminar. The doors opened at 8:30, and the seminar day began with music, dancing, and an atmosphere of celebration. I was standing towards the front of the room on the side, while some announcements and festivities were happening on stage. At the back of the room I saw Harv Eker walking around the aisle, towards where I was.

Harv and I greeted each other, and I expressed appreciation that he invited me. To my mind it really was a great expression of confidence that, without having met me in-person, he entrusted me with the 800 or so participants at his Master of Influence seminar for two hours. Harv shared that he had read the manuscript of my book. A few months earlier I had sent to him a manuscript of the book I had written, Relationships That Work: The Power of Conscious Living- How Spiritual Principles and Transformative Communication Can Change Your Life, for an endorsement.

Then Harv went on stage and spoke a few words about personal growth, after which he introduced me. During his introduction he emphasized how moved he was by the manuscript of my book, and how the book presents powerful communication strategies in such a broad and deep context of self-development. Then I walked onto the stage and shook hands with Mr. Eker. The audience greeted me with enthusiasm and I felt fully supported.

From the start the group was very responsive, eager to learn, discover and experience. Something that especially impressed me was how deep they went during the participatory exercises. I had been concerned because I had never run these processes with a group this size. I wasn't certain whether there would be sufficient structure for powerful effect. Actually, the opposite of my concern turned out to be true. Even though I provided less time than usual for the interactions, the effects were quite profound, as evidenced by the group sharing. After an empathic listening experience, for about 4 minutes, one gentleman shared that he got more emotionally honest than he's been in ten years. Hundreds of persons raised their hands, wanting to share, and each of the few who did so communicated profound realizations and gratitude for the experience of the process. The energy of each process swept through the room, and thus the impact was increasingly potent with this large group.

After the workshop I stayed around for the remainder of the day. Throughout the day, and even through the next morning when I was at the hotel waiting for an airport shuttle, streams of seminar participants approached me and expressed how much value they derived from the Transformative Communication experience, and how they intend to utilize in their lives what they learned and realized. Several specifically expressed appreciation for the spiritual basis of the relationship principles I presented in the workshop. In the hours after my presentation many persons approached me, interested to invite Satvatove to conduct trainings in their organization. Also, several were interested to organize promotional efforts for Relationships That Work when it is available in April, 2008.

Towards the end of the workshop itself, Frances and Jennifer came on stage and shared their experience of Satvatove coaching and seminars. Each communicated powerfully and vulnerably from their experience, and the group really got them, and what they wanted to share. Jennifer came from Florida to assist with this workshop, and Frances came from England, and I sincerely appreciate their efforts, dedication and sincerity. Also the Peak Potentials staff was incredibly helpful, with a steady and cheerful attitude of service and support. Over the weeks we mostly coordinated administrative arrangements with Jann, a Peak Potentials administrator. Interactions with her were pleasant, efficient and responsive. While I was in Los Angeles Jann mentioned to me several times how wonderful it was for her to deal with Satvatove, commenting on the integrity and reliability she experienced from Satvatove. Also, she exclaimed how much she appreciated Marie (Jann: "I just love Marie!").

Dozens of persons pre-ordered books (Relationships That Work), with about 150 books ordered thus far from the Master of Influence event.

For me personally the experience has been deeply confirming, about who I am as a person, and about what I have to offer to people.
