Welcome to issue 10 of the Satvatove Community Newsletter.

In this issue Simon Krauer writes about how the Satvatove courses gave him the encouragement to fully live his life with inspiration, making amazing changes.

I'd like to share a little about my experience of group coaching during the Satvatove Life Mastery Program. It was a deeply valuable experience for me, where I broadened my perspectives on life issues, and derived much insight from the sharing, process and challenges of others in the group.

To give you a clearer idea of what I'm talking about, here's an example: I'd say the most important thing that happened is that I became aware of how important spirituality is in my life, where I stand with spirituality and what it means to live my life in that consciousness. Group coaching helped me open my eyes to new ways to approach and strengthen my connection with spirituality. Naturally, that influenced, enriched and changed my approach to other life areas, such as relationships, career, health. I learned to see how my beliefs about relationships determined my experience of being with other people and by broadening my perspective I am now more able to create a deeply fulfilling experience in my relationships. Oftentimes in my life I felt alone, not really belonging anywhere. Because I had experienced this many times, it became a belief that I cannot feel connected to other people. During the group coaching I experienced that I can connect with others, that I do belong and that it is fully my responsibility to create this. I also realized that by working on any other life area, naturally my connection with spirituality increased.

Through group coaching my confidence and courage deepened as I gained valuable experience expressing myself, and seeing how my sharing was beneficial for others.

The group sessions enlarged my viewpoint on life, people and myself. Somehow the group coaching moved things into place for me, in a grounded way, inspiring me to apply insights to my life situation.

Also, the facility to correspond with the facilitator was very helpful for me as a supplement to the group sessions.

ENCOURAGEMENT

"What did you get out of the seminar?" This I asked myself after the Foundational and Advanced Satvatove Seminars in Switzerland in February, 2006. One thing was clear to me, I got a lot. To describe this "a lot" is not easy, though a word that summarizes it is "encouragement".

I considered further "What was it that encouraged me?", and "Encouragement, for what?"

My experience in the courses connected me with something that feels intuitively right, somehow familiar. It is an acknowledgement of a wisdom that rests inside me. At the root of "encouragement" is "courage", and I contacted courage to live from this place of wisdom. This is a place strong, clear, and secure, and simultaneously vulnerable and open. In this consciousness I am safe, protected and guided, while responsible, non-attached and deeply grateful.

"The seminar begins now" was David's assertion at the end of the course. For me the meaning was a call to apply what I learned to create more satisfying communication and rewarding relationships. I did this and was moved and inspired by the results in my life. Then the Life Mastery Program (LMP) began, and this was a wonderful opportunity to fully integrate my new strategies in my life, to not allow my realizations to diminish, but rather to refresh and deepen habits of fulfilling interpersonal relation. In the framework of the LMP, with the expert care of Marie, David and the group members, there was the fertile soil to practice and gain valuable experience.

In a brief conversation with David during his 2007 visit to Switzerland I expressed how I was transforming my life with the profound communication skills and self-development strategies I had learned. Afterwards I realized that a greater joy for me is knowing that I've also become an instrument for transforming the life experience of persons with whom I interact. I am touching others at a deep level of their being, more than I previously conceived possible. I'd like to relate one of many examples of this.

A few weeks ago I was sharing a meal with a group of five close associates, a teenager and four adults. One of the adults was in a nasty mood. Lamenting in frustration, he made a racist statement. It was intimidating, embarrassing - a very negative vibration. Emotional tensions were palpable. I felt myself struggling to remain peaceful. Then I knew, this was my time! Connecting with integrity I stated how I experienced those remarks as racist and completely lacking respect. Formerly I wouldn't have possessed the courage to firmly express, stand for what's true and right, and for the rights of fellow human beings. It was a milestone for me. Immediately the vibration in the room transformed. Later that person approached me with sincere regret, and showed appreciation for my courage to speak up, to not allow unrighteousness to prevail. I was very moved and also expressed my appreciation of that person's maturity in confronting this issue with dignity, not fleeing from the conflict. Everyone present felt close, enriched, benefited from honestly facing conflict.

The encouragement to live my best life that I contacted in my Satvatove experience is a constant inspiration for me. Very often I find opportunities to manifest myself with deep authenticity, generating a life-enhancing cycle of empowerment for myself and persons in my environment. This for me is truly worthy of celebration.
